Service

For more than five years I proofread academic and non-academic papers and books concerning spelling, punctuation and style. That means that I – especially in your academic papers – correct style so that it fits to the requirements.

Operation

I work with the comment function in Microsoft Word. Thus, you will be able to comprehend all suggestions for improvement and decide on your own whether you want to accept the suggestions and corrections or not. Therefore, please send me your paper as a word- or pages-document.

Periods and Deadlines

How long an order will take depends on how many pages you have written and whether I already have another paper to correct. Nevertheless, you can approximately count with one working day (Mon-Sat) per 10 pages you have written.

In general, I am very flexible and I proofread quite quickly. If you have a mandatory deadline, please tell me so that I can take this into account in my planning.

Price

The price varies between 2,00 and 3,00€ per page, depending on how much effort the proofreading means for me.

You can send me 1-2 pages of your paper to deinperfektertext@gmail.com and I will correct them for free so that you know how my proofreading will look like and so that I can tell you the exact price that I will take for the order.

About Me
Janine Sekic

My name is Janine Sekic. I was born in 1995 and work as a teacher for the subjects German and English at a primary school in Brühl.

The foundation of my expertise concerning translations and proofreading is my Bachelor and Master studies in German and English at the University of Cologne.

During the studies, I absolved a semester abroad in London in 2017 and worked as a translator for a tourism agency. Moreover, I worked for the International Business School (CBS) as a proofreader of scientific papers.

In 2018 I founded my own company and I offer to correct papers and to translate your documents.
